Order Handling Policy
Ordering through this website is simple & straight forward. Just add the products you want in the shopping cart and click the checkout button. Shipping options and charges will be computed automatically for you once you enter your shipping address. You will need to select your preferred shipping method from the options provided. Any coupon code can also be entered during this process. Payment can be made using Paypal, credit cards or bank transfer.
Orders entered and paid for will be processed typically within 1 business day. Orders that have opted to make payment using bank transfer need to arrange for payment within 24hrs, otherwise, the order will be automatically cancelled.
All orders made through this website are processed in Singapore dollars (S$) term. Any currency conversion to another currency other than the Singapore dollars (S$) are made using daily refreshed exchange rates referenced from Yahoo Finance Exchange and are presented for illustration purpose only. If you are based outside of Singapore, the actual amount charged on your credit card or Paypal account will be based on your bank's actual exchange rates where the transaction was cleared.
Payment Methods & Policy
All payment through this website is processed only using our base currency, Singapore Dollars (SGD). Regardless of which currency you may have selected to display product prices and shopping cart totals, the order amount during payment will be settled in Singapore dollars (SGD). We accept the follow modes of payments:-
Using Visa/Master or JCB debit/credit cards
You can use your Visa, Mastercard, JCB credit or debit cards and Amex credit cards to make payment directly on our checkout page. Our payment channel is provided through Omise, a PCI-DSS 3.2.1 compliant international payment channel provider. All your transactions are secured by 3-D Secure technology. If you have logged into your account with us, you can also save you card details on Omise secured servers for future purchases. You might like to note that your credit/debit card details are only sent to Omise servers and does not pass through any of our servers.
You should see in your credit/debit card statement of account, transactions with "OMISESG*SPRINGBREEZESHOPS".
This option allows you to make payment using PayNow, a Singapore based peer-to-peer fund transfer service. Payment is done by scanning a QR code with your mobile phone bank app that is provided on the screen upon the order confirmation.
You should see that the payment is made to "OMISE PAYMENT SG PTE. LTD.". Omise will send a notification to our system once they have received your payment.
If you have an existing Paypal account, all you have to do is to select the payment by Paypal option when you checkout and you would be redirected to your paypal account to effect the payment directly. You will need to get ready your paypal login and password to proceed.
You should see in your Paypal statement of account, transactions with either "WROOTSHOP" or "WINTER ROOT SHOP".
Paying as guest on Paypal using Visa/Master/Amex or Discover cards
It is possible to use your Visa, Mastercard, American Express or Discover credit cards on Paypal platform without a Paypal account. You need to select the Paypal option when you checkout and you will automatically be redirected to the Paypal site. Select the option to "Checkout as Guest" to pay using credit card at the bottom paragraph in the main text area. You will need to fill up your card detail and email address to proceed. You may also be asked to choose a password and to register you for your Paypal account. The choice is entirely up to you but the creation of a Paypal account is absolutely free for you.

If you encounter a message from Paypal like "The credit card you entered cannot be used for this payment. Please enter a different credit card number.", you might want to try again using a different card. The reasons behind this message is not made clear by Paypal but it appears to be related to Paypal's security & fraud protection system. Another way of working around this is to registered your card with a Paypal account and use the Paypal account to make the payment.
Tax Handling Policy
This business is based in Singapore and is required to collect 7% Goods & Services tax (GST) in Singapore for all goods & services provided to any customers based in Singapore. For international customers based outside of Singapore where goods are shipped to an address outside of Singapore, zero GST rate will apply.
It is important to note that while we do not collect Singapore GST for orders shipped internationally, it is possible that your country may apply additional taxes or/and duties to imports. We strongly suggest that you check with policies of your country to avoid unexpected charges as we will not be responsible for handling of such charges.
Order Cancellation Policy
For any online orders that are invoiced and paid for but not mailed out yet, cancellation will come with an administration charge of 15% of the order or S$10, whichever is higher. If an order has already been processed and mailed out, cancellation will not be possible.
Goods Return Policy
For hygiene reasons, all goods sold are non-refundable and non-exchangeable. Only products found to have manufacturing defects are eligible for exchanges.
Whether the reported issues is a manufacturing defect or not is to be determined at our sole discretion.
For any exchanges, the product must be returned to us within 3 days in original condition, unwashed and all tags attached. We suggest that you check all items right away after you receive it to avoid any contentions. Any faults reported after this will be subjected to individual suppliers' warranty programs, and the service time varies between suppliers. The customer is responsible for the cost of return shipping if applicable.
